A Note from the Founder
I founded FOS because I believed the family office field deserved a space built on practice, not promotion - a place where practitioners, researchers, and advisers could share what they've learned without a commercial agenda behind it.
It started with one research paper and a simple question: how do family offices actually govern and operate? That question opened doors I didn't expect. Today, FOS has grown into 90+ publications with 70+ co-authors, a community of 3,000+ professionals across 20+ countries, intimate peer events, and a mentorship program pairing experienced professionals with the next generation.
But the numbers only tell part of the story. Behind every publication is a practitioner who chose to share what they know. Behind every Tables session is a room full of people who showed up to listen, challenge, and learn from each other. That generosity is what makes FOS what it is.
This platform is non-commercial by design. No pitching, no selling, no gatekeeping. It will stay that way.
